Students under the National Association of Ogun State Students (NAOSS) have praised Governor Dapo Abiodun for launching an AI-powered Teaching Platform aimed at improving the delivery of quality education and advancing learning in the state.
In a statement jointly signed by NAOSS National President Olubodun Olalekan and General Secretary Adesanya Peter, the students described the governor’s initiative as groundbreaking, noting that it has the potential to transform education across Ogun State.
The statement highlighted that the innovative platform will enhance teaching and learning by providing students with access to advanced technology and equipping them with essential skills for the digital era.
NAOSS also expressed confidence that the digital platform would help bridge gaps in educational resources while offering students a more interactive and engaging learning experience.
“The AI-powered Teaching Platform is a testament to the Ogun State government’s commitment to leveraging technology to improve education.
“The platform will provide students with access to virtual classrooms, online resources, and interactive learning tools, enabling them to learn at their own pace and explore new concepts more engagingly.
“The NAOSS applauds the state government’s vision and initiative in introducing this platform, which is expected to improve academic performance and outcomes in the state.”
In a similar vein, the student body also lauded the Ogun State Government for establishing a 100,000-capacity poultry pen in the Odeda Farm Settlement.
According to NAOSS, the agriculture initiative is expected to create job opportunities for youths and students, providing them with a source of income and enabling them to contribute to the state’s economy.
It stated further that the poultry project would provide internship opportunities for students pursuing agric-related programmes, giving them hands-on experience and practical skills in poultry farming.
“The establishment of the poultry pen is a significant step towards promoting agricultural development in Ogun State. The NAOSS believes that this initiative will not only provide employment opportunities but also contribute to the state’s food security and economic growth.
“The Association commends the state government for its efforts in promoting agricultural development and encouraging youth participation in the sector.
“The NAOSS also notes that the poultry pen project provides entrepreneurship opportunities for out-of-school youths and students engaged in small-scale farming. This initiative will enable them to expand their businesses and increase their income, improving their economic prospects and contributing to the state’s economic growth. The association believes that this project will have a positive impact on the lives of many young people in Ogun State.
“The 100,000 capacity poultry pen is a model of large-scale poultry farming, providing students and youths with exposure to modern agricultural practices and technologies. No doubt, this initiative will inspire more young people to take up agriculture as a career, contributing to the state’s agricultural development and food security.
