Mowe, Ogun State – The general overseer (GO) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has encouraged Christians to “call on the one who made you and ask for spare parts” during health challenges.
A video posted on the verified X page of @therealchurchg1 on Wednesday, April 1, and sighted by Legit.ng, shows Pastor Adeboye explaining that during illness or health difficulties, people should claim their healing through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ, as the Bible presents healing as a covenant right.

Pastor Adeboye shares healing advice
The 84-year-old said:
“Let’s consider your health. Suppose you are having some problems with your health. I’m not talking of virus. No virus is coming near you. Amen. Assuming that you are sick on your own now, well, remind Him. That is the one who said, I am the Lord that healeth thee. Exodus 15 verse 26. Exodus 15 verse 26. He said, just obey me. Just hearken diligently to the voice of the Lord your God. To observe and to do all that he commands you. He said I will not bring the sickness that have been brought upon the Egyptian upon you. He said because I will be your private physician.
“All he has to do is speak a word. 107 verse 20. 107 verse 20 says he sent his word and he healed them. And delivered them from all their destruction.”
He continued:
“And you know there is something interesting. And I think I said this one. Those of you who are old who heard me say it years ago. In 1 Peter chapter 2 verse 24. 1 Peter 2 verse 24, where it says that by his stripes we were healed. I told you then, I said, I read one magazine. I wish I had kept that magazine. Where they say that all the sicknesses and the diseases in the world can be cured. categorised into 39 categories. And Jesus took 40 stripes. One stripe for every category of sickness and disease.”

The popular cleric added:
“And I told you at that time, the extra one stripe was waiting for sicknesses and diseases yet to be discovered. So there is a stripe waiting for coronavirus or any other virus. It had been there all these years. Any new sickness or disease that may come, the Lord has made provision for it. So you can claim your healing through his stripes. He made you according to John chapter 1 verse 3. John chapter 1 verse 3. And so if you need spare parts, he can give you one. John chapter 9 from verse 1 to 7. John 9, 1 to 7 tells us the story of a man who was born blind. And he gave him brand new eyes. So even if your sickness has a genetical nature, something you inherit from your parents, call on the one who made you and ask for spare parts.”
