A Nigerian man in the United States has weighed in on the matter involving content creator Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, and businessman Linus Williams Ifejirika, widely known as Blord.
On Wednesday, VeryDarkMan made a video informing the public that a Federal High Court in Abuja ordered the remand of Blord at the Kuje Correctional Centre.
The ruling came after his arraignment on charges of criminal conspiracy, impersonation, and unauthorised use of the identity belonging to VeryDarkMan.

“VDM , TWO MORE DAYS AND TAKE YOUR VICTORY OR BE WET IN THE SUN.
“VDM taking B-Lord to court for impersonating is a little too far. He should have left it on social media’s street, as both of them were showing online prowess about who is stronger online.
“B-Lord using his face for advert business was wrong, as I pointed out then. Now that he has been remanded in custody and is awaiting bail for the trial to commence, and Sowore saying he would work to get him out because he doesn’t like people using the law as an oppressive instrument, and VDM not liking it – seeing it as an affront to his person and online currency, before his fans, he is pushing back on Sowore and daring him.
“If VDM allows the matter to proceed, B-Lord may be found guilty but would pay a fine as a first offender, as expressly stipulated in the Nigerian constitution, and walk home, while the long-term jail time VDM and his fans are expecting won’t happen.
“So if I were VDM, I would claim victory now by allowing him to stay there for two more days and then drop the case. Then I’ll come online and claim that I only allowed him to go home after pitying him, and in my fans’ eyes, I’ll become larger than life, having imprisoned a billionaire for some days and set him free at my own will.
“But if he doesn’t, B-Lord will be granted bail, and even if guilty, will pay a fine and go home, and the largesse of the victory VDM is hoping for, will not be as large as he wishes. Also, with Sowore now in the picture. VDM , take your victory in two more days or you’ll win but it will look as if you lost . Win now.”
