
A fire aboard a tanker that Kuwait says was hit by an Iranian strike off Dubai has been extinguished, according to local authorities.
The Al Salmi was docked and fully loaded with two million barrels of oil being transported from Kuwait and Saudi Arabia when it was struck by what officials in Dubai described as a drone attack.
The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation has confirmed all 24 crew members are safe and uninjured.
