FCT, Abuja – The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released its timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 general elections.
The ruling party pegged the presidential form at ₦100m, and the governorship form at ₦50m; the Senate, House of Representatives, and State House of Assembly forms cost ₦20m, ₦10m, and ₦6m, respectively.
The APC National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, OFR, made this known in a statement issued on Monday, April 20, 2026, via the APC X handle @OfficialAPCNg.
The ruling party’s timetable outlines, among other activities, timelines for screening, appeals, and primary elections.
The timetable also contains directives on the sale of nomination and expression of interest forms.
According to the timetable, screening of aspirants will hold between May 6 and May 8, while screening results will be released on May 11, followed by appeals from May 12 to May 13.
Argungu said the presidential primaries will be held from May 15 to 16, while those for the House of Representatives, Senate, State House of Assembly, and governorship will take place on May 18, May 20, May 21, and May 23, respectively.
The ruling party also fixed May 25 for the conclusion of election appeals across all categories.

Former Kano governor dumps PDP for APC
Recall that Senator Ibrahim Shekarau resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with immediate effect ahead of the 2027 elections.
The former Kano state governor cited strategic political realignment as the reason for his departure from the PDP.
Shekarau said his decision to dump the PDP and join the APC follows extensive consultations within his political group ahead of shifting parties.
APC asks INEC to completely deregister ADC
Meanwhile, Legit.ng also reported that the ruling APC called on the independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to totally deregister the coalition party, ADC, amid the opposition outcry against the electoral body.
Ajibola Bashiru, the APC national secretary, made the claim while speaking in an interview along with the party’s publicity secretary, Felix Morka.
The APC leader, in another interview, bragged that one million of the ADC cannot defeat the APC in the 2027 general elections.
